RSA DESIGN AWARDS

Second year (2018)

Brief
Given a brief consisting of 12 different topics, I have chosen “Harvesting Health”, which was aiming on creating a healthier lifestyle, by designing especially focusing on sustainability, health and current issues.
BGreen is a zero-waste community pace, which works as an extension to supermarkets and offers workshops and sells products as well, while focusing on the power of community and education.

Materiality, the produce of products, reducing waste and creating something new from the old were the main drive of the project, which allowed for a deep research and understanding the production and sources of materials and how that can reflect sustainability within the design.

The emphasis was on model making and testing ideas in 3D, which has allowed the project to develop in functionality and feasibility.
